John, who does the cooking, and Dee Stenhouse make wonderful hosts to this pleasant 15th century Suffolk country inn. There is a good carte menu, well supported with a weekday set version. Guinea fowl terrine, with salmon and scallop gratin, could be followed by a wonderful bread and butter pudding supported by a mango coulis.
