Cheap and cheerful is the name of the game at Hing Loon. As one of the smallest restaurants on Chinatown's Lisle Street, blink and you might just miss it, but then you would miss out on one of the better value for money establishments. Despite the small size of the place the menu is long but if you want to keep costs to a minimum opt for one of their so-called economic meals where rice or noodles accompany the dish of your choice.

If you're around Chandos Place expecting nothing less than the best seafood prepared the Japanese way then just head to Hazuki Restaurant. Within its minimally furnished interior expect to see an arresting display of Japanese art on the table, a compelling selection of sashimi, nigiri sushi and king rolls stuffed with deep-fried prawns and soft shell crab.

Poached octopus with vinegar sauce, squid with fermented soy beans, and tuna and avocado with wasabi soy sauce make an impressive debut, followed by deep fried bread crumb chicken, or teppanyaki grilled salmon with mushrooms. A hot pot on a chilly winter night can set anyone's heart aflutter and here it could be a delectable concoction of salmon or cod, vegetables and tofu.

There is a choice of six set menus, all designed to bring in exciting combinations like rice and miso soup, assorted appetiser and tempura, sushi, sashimi or a main course and dessert.

L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon is based on simplicity and the very highest quality food, drawing on Robuchon's internationally renowned culinary expertise. The philosophy of the counter where you dine at L'Atelier is one of interactivity. The eating counter surrounds the kitchen so that chef can discretely gauge the reaction of his clients, and even converse with those regulars who are feeling chatty. The décor and restaurant layout is Japanese inspired and the cuisine is predominantly French, Italian and Spanish.

The small tasting dishes to accompany your aperitifs include coriander pannacotta served a lightly smoked aubergine caviar and ham with toasted tomato bread. For lunch, options such as glazed chicken with piquillos pepper chicken and pan fried hake with parsley roots puree and crunchy hazelnuts appear on the menu. Desserts change regularly and make sure you check the day's special.

At the Salon Bar you can experience cocktails designed to entice you into experiencing drinks in a new way, often ore associated with food than drinks.

Every week, from Tuesday to Sunday, Storm Nightclub in Leicester Square plays host to some of the best stand ups in London in a vibrant and friendly fun environment. DJs get the party rocking every night. For food and drink, guests can enjoy a modern international menu.

Storm's culinary selection includes such dishes as honey roasted ham, smoked roast pork, asparagus and sweet corn quiche, lemon and coriander cous cous, diced potato and chive salad, mini cocktail sausages with apple sauce, pink salmon terrine and bbq chicken wings. The stage is set for the evening by a range of cocktails with combinations of dark rum, ginger beer, vodka, Chambord, gin and tequila. Caipiroska is vodka mixed with muddled lime and sugar while berry cool has a medley of berries shaken with vodka, lemon juice and sugar. There's also a choice of premium bottled beers and spirits.

Falafel wraps are certainly enticing, served here in grilled khobez bread with tahini sauce and your choice of pickled peppers, gherkins or spicy chilli sauce. So there's FLT, car beet sale and bean beanie - all pun intended - and even a yoghi bear, which could mean a stuffing of grated beetroot, carrot, pumpkin seeds, yogurt and cucumber sauce, You might also be tempted to try the hot wraps with wonderful combinations like Cajun chicken and Spanish chorizo, chicken tikka with tomato, coconut and Indian spices, and spicy Italian beef, bacon and parmesan meatballs. There are also sausages and pies with a whole profusion of ingredients from steak and kidney to the reggae jerk chicken.
