Dunes
20 Kensington Church Street, London, W8 4EP [Map]
Dunes is a lively restaurant and entertainment venue located on Kensington Church Street. The cuisine served up here is a combination of French and Arabic Mezze dishes. The mezze option will set you back around £15 per person and includes the likes of vine leaves, hummus and pitta bread, falafel and a variety of mini kebabs. From the French inspired menu you'll find classic dishes such as steak Diane, grilled breast of chicken with lemon, or a pancake filled with ratatouille. Once you've sampled the dining experience you can stay on to enjoy a few more drinks at the bar before taking to the dance floor.

Kanteen at K West Hotel & Spa
Richmond Way, Shepherd's Bush, London, W14 0AX [Map]
The K West Hotel and Spa is all about providing plenty of choices for their guests. This could mean spending a chilled out time at the lounge by day or just unwinding in one of their spacious bedrooms. The Kanteen is an ideal place for an intimate meal where diners could relax within their dark wood, stainless steel and glass interior. The decor is super cool and sets a trendy tone for the restaurant.
The menu brings in the best of salads, sandwiches and burgers such as Caesar's with marinated salmon fillet, chicken club with bacon, egg mayonnaise, avocado and lettuce, or a cheese burger. There are other modern eclectic dishes that are cooked simply and are flavoursome, such as the Thai green chicken curry and linguini with tiger prawns, cherry tomatoes, chilli and basil. At dessert time you may be drawn to a sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce or baked Alaska with mixed berries.

Kensington Place
Book201 Kensington Church Street, London, W8 7LX [Map]
The huge glass frontage of this chic Kensington restaurant means it's a place to see and be seen in. The fashion conscious clientele all vie for attention making this a noisy and vibrant setting rather than your cosy or romantic atmosphere.
This recently refurbished restaurant sports a fresh interior and has a new Head Chef, Daniel Loftin. The interior floor has been replaced by black and cream floor tiles while new colour has been introduced in the form of various shades and sizes of vintage 'Gurgle' jugs and blue and yellow Vitra Dax chairs.
With a new Head Chef at the helm, the kitchen is in tune with the seasons and is keen on keeping things fresh and interesting. The secret at Kensington Place seems to be that it is always buzzing, the cuisine never fails to excite interest, and the standards are amazingly consistent - plus, for a fashionable restaurant in London - the prices are perfectly acceptable.
The chef certainly makes his mark, and the changing menu features combinations like roast beetroot, Cashel blue, chicory and walnut salad, or fillet steak tartare with quail egg and Melba toast. A main course of Hereford dry aged fillet steak with mash and green peppercorn sauce is a subtle success, and so is a moules marinière with pommes frites.
The wine list is well chosen, and their mark-ups are quite sensible, so no problem in choosing a good wine to accompany what should be a superb meal, their satellite Pinot Noir, New Zealand Marlborough is to be highly recommended, a really fruity example.
The desserts are another delight but perhaps best of all is the chocolate brownie and caramel sundae, though the warm chocolate tart with marshmallow and clotted cream, or apple and blackberry crumble with vanilla ice cream may prove irresistible.
Why not have a look at their Website to view everything from menus to their wine list, and then you might find them so tempting that you will understand the continued success of Kensington Place?

Set in delightful and contemporary settings Mimino Georgian Restaurant offers excellent cuisine and surroundings in which to enjoy a great meal with family and friends. The interior features bright colours, dark wood tables and chairs and leather sofas to take the weight off your feet and pamper yourself.
The menu features dishes to suit every palate and vegetarians are in for a treat with the wide choice of dishes to hand. Aubergines roast with walnut sauce and spices, red beans steamed with Georgian spices, and grape leaves stuffed with a mix of beef, pork and rice make for excellent light bites. If you fancy something more filling, then try chicken braised in special sauce with tomatoes, eggs and herbs served with mashed potatoes, or beef stew in tomato paste with a hint of chilli, garlic, coriander, and plenty of special spices in a bowl.
The wine list offers a few off beat numbers and New and Old world wines.
