Charuwan is a traditional Thai restaurant from the varied Thai artefacts that decorate the interior, to the classic dishes that make up the mouth-watering menu. Start your dining experience here with one of their flavoursome Thai broths, or equally good are their dumplings dipped in soya sauce, or crisp prawn toast. Of the main course dishes the fish and seafood options are particularly good, whilst any of the traditional red, green and yellow Thai curries are also certain to please the palate. Desserts include a delightfully different lemongrass ice cream that makes for a light end to an enjoyable and good value meal.

La Brocca is the kind of modern and friendly local Italian we all wish we had on our doorstep. Whilst the menu may not be remarkable it is satisfying, including vast pizzas laden with tempting toppings and chic pasta dishes such as ravioli filled with black crab. In summer arrive early to ensure a table at either one of the patio tables or in the conservatory.

Dizengoff's is an all meat kosher restaurant, established since 1989. Their speciality is a variety of grilled meats cooked in the dining area on charcoal; their shwarma is 100% lamb. Chicken Dizengoff is the favourite dish of their regular customers, this is chicken steak marinated in spices brought over from Israel each month.

The meze has at least 12 different salads available, and all soup at Dizengoff is made only from fresh ingredients daily. Unusually they have an international staff speaking Hebrew, Arabic, Turkish, French, Polish, Spanish and Italian between them.

Really authentic Thai cuisine is a rarity in London and that's what makes Blue Moon so special and worthy of a trek across town if necessary. The owner started the restaurant as a personal crusade to improve the quality of Thai cuisine in the capital; the food is delicious and great value too.
