Thanks to a handful of restaurants such as the family-run Manze's, England's age-old traditional dish of jellied eels, pie, and mash has proudly entered the 21st century and stars on many English menus.

Manze's is among the city's oldest surviving eel pie and mash houses that has been open since 1891. Although the dish is not as popular as it was before, Manze's still offers succulent jellied or stewed eels, and mince beef in handmade pastry pies accompanied by a choice of gravy or a traditional British parsley sauce called liquor, and potatoes peeled, cooked and mashed on site. Vegetarians can enjoy pies that are created using minced soya.

A restaurant that keeps its doors open for the entire family, Spur's Steak and Grill House is part of the globally renowned chain of restaurants that had its origins in South Africa, and which has gradually spread to other parts of the world. Located in Greenwich Town, the restaurant caters to people of all ages in a relaxed and informal atmosphere reflected in the dining and the décor.

Serving a typical American cuisine, the restaurant has a large number of dishes on its menu.
