The Old Fire Station is a welcome addition to the Kew Gardens area, which has long been missing a restaurant of this calibre. The Brentford Fire Station has been given a new look and image whilst still keeping some of its original features such as nouveau lettering 'Fire Station' sign above the entrance with three notched Saxon knives of the 1898 Middlesex coat of arms.

They serve a blend of European and International cuisine in relaxed surroundings, accompanied by an extensive list of cocktails and spirits.

The delightfully named Glistening Waters is a pleasant Caribbean restaurant in Brentford, located by the Thames and is close to such famed landmarks as the Kew Gardens and Syon Park.
