Browns Restaurant and Pie Shop

The family-run Browns Restaurant and Pie Shop pleases numerous customers each day with its good food and wine. The well-established Browns is a friendly and welcoming place to be, thanks to the efforts of owners Allan Gill, wife Chris, and their family.

Cheese Society, The

The Cheese Society may well turn out to be every cheesophiles preferred destination; from Organic Cotswold Blue and Kelsey to Isle of Mull it's all there waiting to be discovered and savoured. The monthly assortment of five cheeses, ranging from the traditional styles to modern creamy ones, complements each other in flavour and strength.

Conservatory Restaurant at Hillcrest Hotel

What was at one time a rectory is today the warm and welcoming Hillcrest Hotel. The family-run establishment is located in a particularly serene part of Lincoln, and overlooks the city arboretum. A fantastic blend of a quiet location, comfortable rooms, and fine modern European food makes visits to this place a refreshing experience.

This Bailgate fine dining restaurant reflects some of the ethos of the rich and historical quarter where it is located, with décor that is fresh, classical and yet completely modern.

Kitchen, The

The Kitchen is a cafe serving traditional English food with a strong emphasis on fresh local produce. Full English breakfasts are served from 6.30 am Monday to Friday and 7 am on Saturday. A carvery lunch is available daily between midday and 3 pm, whilst on Sunday they offer three different roasts - fore rib of Lincoln red beef, leg of Lincolnshire lamb and leg of pork with fantastic crackling.

Lakeside Restaurant

The history of Branston Hall dates back to 1885, when it was built as a stately home for Sir Leslie Alexander Melville. The property was converted into a hotel in 1990, and has ever since charmed many hundreds of guests.
