Needless to say pies such as the steak and kidney are the speciality and they are very, very good. Other choices include Yorkshire pudding stuffed with prawns; Glasgow haggis, and pies of local wild rabbit, lamb, cheese, fish, and tenderloin of pork with local honey, steaks, and chefs' specials of roast sweet pepper and rocket risotto, and seared venison loin on sweet potato puree with redcurrant jus.
