ASK - Northampton

For some time I made the mistake of thinking that no group of restaurants in the region of 200 locations could hope to maintain the quality for which I was looking. Aviator Restaurant, The

This wonderful evocation of flying as it used to be in the romantic '30s is on the edge of the aerodrome at Sywell, and the décor within is pure kitsch, in the nicest possible sort of way. Just forget about artistic purity and all that stuff, and let the place wash over you as a fun experience that has had a great deal of time and effort lavished upon it.

Church Restaurant, The

The Church Bar and Restaurant, Northampton, has a long history as the oldest secular building in the region.
