Launched in 2004 The Mutton Renaissance is dedicated to getting ‘proper’ mutton back on to our menus. As such it has the full support of Prince Charles, and even more importantly an increasing number of chefs country-wide. Brian Turner, president of the Academy of Culinary Arts said recently, “this is what our great British food tradition is all about. It’s the farmer’s job to produce the raw material and the chef’s job to transform it into edible “happiness” ‘.

The S.Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants awards, now in its seventh year, has established itself internationally as the most credible guide to the best places to eat on earth. A restaurant's ranking is decided purely on the votes of a large panel of well respected international judges collectively called The Nespresso World's 50 Best Restaurants Academy. The Academy comprises just fewer than 700 chefs, restaurateurs, food writers and restaurant critics, 200 of whom are voting for the first time.
