The picturesque ambience of the canal basin makes The Moorings Pub and Kitchen an oasis of fine dining. Lovely waterside views from a large alfresco dining area give guests the opportunity to sit back and relax in a unique setting. The pub is only a short walk from Sowerby Bridge railway station. Whether it is an evening family dinner, a business luncheon or afternoon tea a warm welcome awaits guests.

The Moorings prides itself on using fresh locally available ingredients which are then crafted into delicious creations by a talented staff. The menu changes seasonally and is replete with contemporary British cuisine favourites including the pub?s signature burgers, Black Sheep soaked beef and ale pie and fish and chips cooked in Lindeboom pilsner lager. Other options include glazed buck rarebit, braised ham hock, pan fried mullet, slow roast lamb shoulder with rosemary jus and lean mince beef cottage pie. Patrons can look forward to Sunday lunch of slices of Calderdale topside of beef, roasted carrots, fine beans, goose fat roast potatoes and chef's Yorkshire pudding with red wine gravy. An eclectic wine list along with a range of traditional English bitters, real ales and premium lagers is further cause for celebration.
