Spirit Restaurant opened in December 2008 in an elegant Grade II listed Georgian white house in Victoria Park, Warrington, tucked away from the bustle of the outside world. The ambiance is friendly and relaxing with comfortable sofas, tables and chairs in a simple yet beautiful interior.

Chef Richard Barlow makes use of locally sourced and seasonal ingredients to create fresh and exciting modern British dishes from free range chicken, lamb and pork as well as diver caught scallops and vegetables.

Nibble on olives with fennel and orange before you begin your meal with starters of chicken and liver foie gras pâté or a warm seafood soup. Mains take in Cheshire pork belly, black pudding cabbage and apple, and slow cooked lamb shank, cardamom carrots and potato cake.

Desserts of vanilla rice pudding, winter berries and shortbread biscuits or warm chocolate fondant help end in style. The wines have been carefully chosen to accompany the dishes, ranging from light, dry and fruity chardonnay to a robust and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon as well as cava, champagne and cocktails.
