Another delightful retreat, dating from 1428, in a peaceful part of England quite close to Hadrian's Wall. Offering traditional hospitality, quiet comfort and thoughts of 'why do we have to go home?' Menu choice is restrained but perfectly adequate and there are plenty of puds.
