Metropolitan, The

Said to be designed to bring the gastropub experience to Liverpool. Actually I thought it had already arrived, but I am not contesting the point. So, Liverpool, this is it you lucky people. In fact it's an improvement on the standard format in my view, being not so large as some, where it is possible to be found still wandering the following morning.

Michael's

Michael's is a cosy, candlelit, neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Birkdale with Chef Michael Wichmann at the helm. This is his first solo venture after a career spanning thirty years in some of the world's top hotels and restaurants, including the Michelin starred La Truffe restaurant in Frankfurt, the Savoy Hotel, London and most recently the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers, Dubai.

Notsushi
