Delrio's Restaurant (York)
Visited Delrio's for two evening meals during our stay in York. Fantastic atmosphere and excellent food and wine. Friendly and very efficient staff. Very good "entertainment" viewing the chefs working in their kitchen.

Pig's Ears (Richmond-upon-Thames)
My husband and I often eat at the Pig's Ear at Richmond, usually the mussels which are very good - specially a la creme! However we wish there was a branch at Putney, where we live. I am sure it would do very well with lots of customers - how about it?

Outsidein Restaurant (Hatfield)
My husband and I were on holiday staying at the Beales Hotel, after touring about we decided to order from the room service menu. What a mistake. The food was overcooked and badly seasoned. My hubby ordered a hamburger, it was hard as a rock and the size of a meatball. I ordered the chicken jalfrezi. The chicken was dry as a bone and the curry sauce had so much tomatoe I couldn't taste anything else. There may as well have been no spices in it at all. Would NOT recommend!!!

Turan (Hatfield)
Fantastic!!!! The best curry my husband and I have ever had. We both enjoy curry and have had curries all over the US and the UK. Never have we had an Indian meal so good. The atosphere was wonderful and the staff were great. I don't usually write reviews but I just could not let this meal go unnoticed. WELL DONE!!

The Sun in the Wood (Newbury)
The Sun changed hands at the beginning of the year. We have visited several times and have been welcomed by the new licensees Darren and Maggie. The food is excellent and there is a good range of beers and wines. Looking forward to a return visit following the recent refurbishment. A proper pub with a good restaurant.

La Quinta Restaurant (Benfleet)
i recently attended a hen night at La Quinta. The evening was great fun. The food was good and quite fast considering the amount of people there but the night included entertainment (Grease Tribute) and a disco. We all had a fabulous time and would definitely go back. It is great to find a place to go where you can stay all night and have a boogie.

Maddys Chippy (Ilfracombe)
Have had holidays in and around Ilfracombe for 8 of the last 10 years and always go to Maddys. The quality is always the same. Last years fish and chips was the same as 10 years ago with ultra thin crispy batter on the fish. Superb.

Beefeater - The Hut, Eastleigh (Eastleigh)
We have visited here several times, and always found the staff were very welcoming and helpful where possible. The menu choice is good, with full standard meals, or a lighter bite /early dining selection.and they are happy to swap vegetables etc for your choice . Would suggest booking if you are a party/group, but they usually manage to fit in couples at short notice.
There is a garden at the rear for drinks/food and children.
