Pizza Express - Salford Quays (Manchester)

We visited the pizza express this Saturday of March and had a great time. The service from our waitress was superb, very helpful and a pleasure to be served by her, she couldn't have been more helpful and hospitable, it’s nice to see someone who enjoys their job and cares about the customers, which is excellent. We will definitely visit again!

Red Pepper Cantonese Restaurant (Rotherham)

This a regular eating place for us, probably the best and smartest in Rotherham. The service is excellent and very friendly and the food is to die for! Recommend that everyone visits this superior restaurant. The lunch time menu is also extremely good value.

Saffron Lounge (Crawley)

Wow! Crawley has some great Indian restaurants and the Saffron Lounge beats them all by a country mile.

Company Shed, The (Colchester)

We went to the shed for the first time yesterday after hearing great reviews, and I can say it's as good as everyone says. The seafood is so fresh. My partner and I had the langoustines, lobster and seafood platter for two; we also took our drinks, bread, butter and seafood sauce. We also took a few avocados but got told off for this, but it was our first time and we didn't realize you couldn't take salad bits, I'd heard you could, but I think it's because they sell salad on the menu. I would definitely recommend it here if you like your seafood. Just don't expect to have a table to yourself and go early like we did.

Cabin, The (Glasgow)

I was amazed to see some negative comments about the Cabin. We had a brilliant night on Saturday for my wife's birthday. Denis is the perfect host, making you feel welcome and at home from start to end. The staff were attentive, pleasant and efficient. The food we had was excellent, especially the lobster bisque, venison and beef wellington, the latter of the two being cooked to perfection - pink and succulent. The desserts were to die for. The after dinner entertainment and sing-along was also excellent. If you are after a quiet evening don't go here - but if you are up for a lively, great night out and then the Cabin is for you!

Bear Free House, The (Stratford-upon-Avon)

Good real ales are available. One of the better places in Stratford to have a real pint.

Amid Palace (Nuneaton)

The food and service is 1st class. I’ve been going to the Amid Palace for two years now and have never had a bad meal, in fact its the best Indian in Warwickshire.

Three Hares Country Inn, The (York)

All of my family and I went to the Three Hares in January after my sister had her graduation in York. It was the best meal I have had in years; my whole family loved it too! The staff were so friendly and the manager even allowed us to give my sister a toast with our own champagne we had brought, which was very kind of him. I can’t wait to go back; in fact I have booked a table for me and my boyfriend tomorrow. I would highly recommend the Three Hares!

Company Shed, The (Colchester)

I took my friend with me and arrived at 1pm. The place was heaving and we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated - which gave us a chance to have a walk along the front and look at the yachts. We sat next to a couple and shared a seafood platter for two which was - absolutely delicious! We shared a bottle of white we'd taken with us and four crusty rolls. No fuss, just excellent food. Highly recommended!
