Review by Eileen Gallagher (26 January 2009)

My son and his partner took my husband and I for dinner on Sat 24th Jan 2009. Our welcome was warm and inviting, we were not rushed to our table. We had a drink in the bar whilst reading the dinner menu. We were told 'take your time, you have all evening'. The food and service was exceptional, we had a lovely evening and will definitely return. In this day and age it was refreshing to be treated as a valued customer, well done.

We had a wonderful meal there on Saturday night. There were eight of us, and the service was very good. The food, especially the starter of sea bass was the best I have tasted. We took our own wine, which made it a bit cheaper. I would recommend this place for a good night out.

Review by Dee (27 May 2008)

Nine of us went for dinner on last Saturday and I was a little nervous as I read a few less than flattering reviews. The bar was inviting and friendly and the restaurant continued the great experience. The food was tasty, good value for money and staff, really helpful. We will return.

Review by Hungry Lad in Leith (29 April 2008)

It was a reasonably good experience at this new player in Leith’s dining scene, which has succeeded its venerable Waterfront Wine Bar predecessor. The limited choice of starters and main courses were good along with a short wine list. They do let you BYOB for a fee, which was clearly taken up by other diners around us. The service was fairly efficient and the food was simple and tasty. The bill was on the expensive side for what we got, but if you are taking up the BYOB option then you get better value for money. I wish the new owners well in this brave new direction they have chosen to take.
