I would be very happy to recommend this restaurant. We held a small wedding reception there for about 25 - 30 people. The menu was well planned to cater for all tastes, and the food was delicious. The service was also efficient, nobody was kept waiting and the atmosphere was friendly. We, and our guests, were very happy we chose Al Duomo.

I have been going to Al Duomo's for 23 years and it is the best restaurant around. I went to Italy last year and the food at Al Duomo's is better than some food in Italy. They have an Italian pizza oven, an all Italian staff policy and Italian ingredients.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Al Duomo in Brighton. The food and wine were lovely (and were complimented by a number of people) and the venue was perfect. The service, particularly the main waiter who helped us on the bar and food, was superb. I have worked in catering in the past myself, both in restaurants and bars, and know when someone excels. Alberto was a great help throughout the planning process and generally contributed to a lovely and memorable night for my wife and I. I would not hesitate to recommend it to other prospective brides and grooms.

Many thanks to Al Duomo, who saved the day for the celebration of my children’s birthday; I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful restaurant.

I had booked a table at another restaurant as three of my children had their birthdays on the same day, but when we got there the table had been given to someone else. We were kept waiting 15 minutes by a very rude waiter who then said he wasn't going to feed us that night and we could go somewhere else. My daughter (aged 6 that day) burst into tears as the waiter danced off saying ‘see if he cared’.

They are only child friendly when it suits them (when they can't use the space to serve alcohol).

We visited Brighton for a weekend and we ended up there twice. Lovely food, AMAZING wine and the waitress was lovely (although some of the male staff clearly think too much of themselves).

I was a frequent visitor to Al Duomo but following the redecoration of the restaurant I was disappointed as I felt it had lost its intimacy. The staff and food seemed indifferent and I regret that I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

I have been going to Al Duomo for years now and the atmosphere, staff and food are brilliant. I recently took my son who is 3 years old and he was welcomed with open arms. I recommend this restaurant to anyone spending time in Brighton.
