My husband and I live in California but go back to visit his family in Plymouth every year. We stumbled upon Al Fassia when we were passing through Windsor and just loved it. Now we make it a point to eat there every year when we visit. The staff are always very friendly and the food is fantastic. We look forward to coming every year and we have never been disappointed.

Al Fassia is one of the best restaurant in Berkshire, the food is fresh but it takes more time to be served, if you are not patient enough to wait for your food, don't go there. The staff are friendly, tolerant, educated and intellectual. If you want to learn about Moroccan culture, don't hesitate to ask them.

This is easily my favourite restaurant in Berkshire - friendly, unpretentious - a rare commodity in Berkshire - authentic with outstanding food and friendly staff. Good options for veggies too, if you have one in your party. I can't recommend Al Fassia highly enough - just go!

We went with our parents, first time for us, several times for them, and we really enjoyed everything about it, from the food to service to the ambience. Amazing vegetarian, meat and fish choices - well done guys!

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were encouraged to enter by the couple who live next door, drop them a bottle of plonk next time they eat with you. The food was first class. Masses of delicious vegetarian options for me and my colleague loved his omnivorous option. Good organic vegetarian wine from the waiter’s home city topped it off beautifully. Just a shame I had to go back to the worst bread and breakfast in the world afterwards. The starters, mezze style, were fabulous as was the vegetable tagine. Would go back and highly recommend to veggies and meat-eaters alike.

We went on a Friday night on the strength of the Restaurant-Guide review and were not disappointed. Extensive menu, excellent food, and surprisingly good wine, we tried a Moroccan Sauvignon Blanc. I would recommend making a booking; we turned up at 18:30 on the dot and could only get a table on the basis we were out by 20:00.

We stumbled on this restaurant as the most populated in Windsor on a Tuesday night. The atmosphere was great, the food divine and extremely good value for money. The wine was adequate. However, I would definitely go for dinner again and will book again next time.

I’ve tried many Moroccan places and this is the best by far. I will go back.

I am Moroccan and have tried many Moroccan restaurants in different cities and countries, but during my first visit to Windsor I was amazed by the quality of food and the uniqueness of Al Fassia. I felt like I was eating at home as the quality of food was outstanding and the personnel so welcoming and friendly. All this was accompanied by good Moroccan wine. I would recommend Tagine and a bottle of Medaillon to any visitor there, and I was not surprised seeing all the awards Al Fassia has got for the best restaurant.
