After visiting Albright Hussey for Sunday lunch felt I must write to say how much we enjoyed our meal. The menu choice was good and the wine list extensive. We had the pate to start, which was very good, followed by the roast beef, which was locally sourced from Church Stretton. It was very well cooked and the flavour was great. Congratulations to the Chef and all the staff in the dining room for what we would call an excellent Sunday lunch experience. So much so that we have booked again in two weeks time and this time we are taking along two of our friends.

A return to a once excellent restaurant with my parents was to say the least disappointing. Surly service, poor lukewarm fish kebab drizzled in Thai dipping sauce, the same sauce on the king prawns, then to top it off the main course had a soggy skin-baked potato cut in four passed off as chunky chips.
One thing had not changed - the price and at nigh on £300 for 4 people. The following day, headaches from corked champagne and not quantity. Do I recommend it? NO, go to McDonald’s you will get better service and about the same lukewarm microwave magic. Do they have a chef? I don't think so.

My daughter, mum, dad and I attended this hotel one Sunday lunch time, everything about the hotel was astonishing, the grounds outside to the decor inside. The level of service was of a very high standard, although I would say that this restaurant is not an ideal place to take the kids I thought that my 4 year old daughter did not feel out of place. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know for any sort of occasion. 10/10.
