I would like to advice that we had our company Christmas bash here in 2008 which was fantastic even with a fully booked restaurant, great food, service and attention to detail. I was on an extreme diet at the time and nothing was too much trouble and did not feel awkward at all. I have taken several of my friends and my husband there and every time service and food has been fantastic. All I can say is thank you Anokaa for providing consistent service and excellent quality of food.

I am a very busy man by profession and don’t have the time to write comments, but I want you all to know this. Last weekend we were entertaining two of my guests from France. I was a bit worried when they asked to sample Indian food. My daughter’s teacher who was in the house suggested we try Anokaa, where I have never been before. As we entered through the doors the place was full of punters. The manager accommodated us perfectly, and I was very impressed that a restaurant in such a small town could be so professional. We sat down and glanced through the menu. It took me a long time and I was very indecisive, the menu is too tempting. My guests were ready to order and finally the food arrived. Wow, what can I say, even the French were shocked, an Indian restaurant with such glamour. Every single mouth was tasty. I personally recommend you all to pay a visit, and this should be one of the things you must do before you die.

Have eaten here twice and on both occasions I was very happy with both the service and the food. The restaurant itself is beautifully presented and all staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and also well presented. On one occasion we tried the lunch time buffet which had a good range of dishes and was excellent value for money.

We booked a table for eight on a Saturday evening during the last May Bank Holiday. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was immaculate, and the food fantastic. It was one of the best meals we’ve had recently and certainly the best Indian meal. Unfortunately we do not live near Salisbury; I only wish we could find such a restaurant closer to our home at South Manchester.

I live locally and have visited Anokaa several times, I can't get over the fact that I just don't get fed up going back time and time again. It has excellent service without intrusion allowing you to enjoy your food. It has an interesting selection of dishes to please the most discerning of diners - truly a wonderful experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend the restaurant.

I've always loved Indian food and have been to many Indian restaurants throughout the UK. This is by far the best one I've visited - the food was subtle and interesting, the service was attentive without being obsequious and the surroundings were delightful without being silly. It's the food that really counts however and it was truly brilliant. The prices were on the high side of what I'd normally pay - perhaps £25 per head isn't too bad after all.

Being local to the area, I have eaten there several times and have always been impressed by the unique flavours, presentation of the meals and excellent service.

Excellent Indian food combined with very friendly and helpful service. The starters were subtle and surprising, the main courses deliciously satisfying. Hot spiced dishes were present but used carefully and didn't overpower the excellent main ingredients. The wine complemented the dishes extremely well - be sure to ask the waiter for their recommendations.

Fantastic, that’s all I can say. I've been in Salisbury for nearly five years and this is the best Indian restaurant I have come across. The presentation, food, decor, and the service was just beyond words. Well done guys. We'll be back.

The food was well presented, the service attentive, but the food was not really up to the mark. I am a Londoner and have eaten in many Indian restaurants, and found the heat rather too intense, and drowned out some of the more subtle flavours. I give the restaurant a 6/10. I might go back as the other reviewers thought it so good, but then again I might not.
