We have lived in Moreton for over 5 years and had never ventured into the restaurant until recently, having heard the not too enticing reports. One evening a couple of months ago, my husband and I decided to bite the bullet and pop in for dinner. It was wonderful. The duty manager and waiter were very friendly and welcoming. We have been back a few times since. They always remember us and act as though we are friends. Sarah always greets us with a smile and the male manager has always been very polite, we will continue to eat there while we live in the area, and will continue to recommend it to friends. The food is fresh and very tasty, the atmosphere warm and welcoming - we love it. Keep up the good work.

The change in management at ASK at Moreton-in-Marsh has made all the difference. Pauline has made this an enjoyable place to eat; the members of staff are friendly and helpful, and you never feel as if anything is too much trouble. The fact that it is busy now shows what the local punters think. I would recommend a visit.

We go there every Thursday after our dancing class, and it is just what the doctor ordered after a hard night teaching people to do ballroom and Latin dancing. It is lovely to be welcomed by the members of staff there, who know exactly what is required. We stay too long and eat too much because we don't want to leave and go home, so it must be okay.

I agree with the previous reviewer. We have been there twice, and on the last occasion we had a similar experience. The first waitress was efficient and friendly, and the drinks and main course came in quickly. The salad was acceptable apart from and under ripe avocado, which was hard. When the waiter mentioned this to his manager, he did not apologise or comment further. The lasagne was rather sloppy. We also had a very long wait for our puddings to arrive despite the place being practically empty. We had to put up with the sound of a malfunctioning CD player and the rather raucous sounds of a ‘staff meeting’ going on in the next room.

I visited them with my family and enjoyed it but I'm sorry to say I will not go there any longer. Previously it's been a safe bet and the staff, have always been friendly and the service good.

Our first waitress was friendly and her service was good. But I'm sorry to say when she left the waitress that took over gave the distinct impression she really didn't want to be there. You could hear arguing in the kitchen. My husband had to go and find staff so we could order pudding for our children.
