My wife and I have just held a meal for 14 friends and relatives to celebrate our golden wedding. The food for both adults and children was absolutely superb and the service second to none. It was a truly wonderful occasion and we would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for the best in English cuisine and customer service.

I have visited the restaurant on a number of occasions with my family. The food is superb, the members of staff are extremely friendly, and every customer is made welcome. Nothing is too much of trouble for them, and I would recommend Bates to anyone visiting Bournemouth. I travel from Salisbury when celebrating special occasions, to dine at Bates.

This is the best restaurant in Bournemouth - everything is prepared fresh - the quality and service are excellent. Do not come to Bournemouth and miss the experience.

My wife and I have been to Bates on many occasions and the food has always been fantastic, the staff are very helpful and I would recommend it to anyone who loves good food.
