I visited Beirut Express last week on a Thursday and found the atmosphere to be wonderful. We were not sure what to eat so we let the waiter choose a mixed portion for us. I must say this was a wise choice. We had a bit of chicken and lamb - most delicious. The fatoush salad was okay, I've eaten better but the lamb and chicken together with hummus was superb. Prices were pretty reasonable for 2 of us. I would recommend this anytime.

I did not enjoy the food at all. The staff uniforms appeared dirty, the food was quite overpriced and the portions were very small. All in all, 1/25 with my score for quality. There are much better Lebanese restaurants in the surrounding district. I would never go back.

This is a great place for traditional Arabic halal food.

We had a great meal at the Beirut Express - Edgware Road on Saturday. The service was good with excellent food, and the first of many we hope. I am trying to find out what the crispy meat balls were.

It looks really nice from the outside and is quite popular with students; however the service was really bad. When we entered the waiter told us there was no tables available, but ‘you can wait if you want’ and walked off. Then when ordering the food the waiter was so sullen, he mumbled things and wouldn’t actually look at us, he didn't even listen to the order. When the food arrived the wraps were cold, and put together very badly, and the chicken was undercooked. It was not a good experience with the rude members of staff.

My friend and I went there for a snack. The waiter lobbed two wraps filled with what looked like hedgehog meat. It looked and smelt so bad that we walked out after one bite. Sorry, but that's the truth.
