Brazz has a great buzz, glamorous but informal and the food and service are consistently good. The burger was fantastic and they do a great bacon roll and coffee during the day.

We have eaten at Brazz many times over the past few years, albeit not in the last six months. We went again in February - the food was good but the service was disappointing.

I have dined at Brazz on several occasions and while the food has been good, the service is disappointing and the waiters just do not smile.

Eaten here a few times. The staff are generally slightly offhand and even a touch arrogant. You half expect a notice stating 'No riif-raff' on the door. The food is unremarkable but perfectly edible. In summary Brazz is overpriced but OK.

I have visited Brazz Taunton twice now and have enjoyed both visits. The food was amazing and the service was good generally although a little slow between starter and main course. You are left alone to enjoy your meal but there is always someone walking around if you need anything. Highly recommended!

I visited Brazz at Taunton (against my better judgement but by request from my guests) for lunch in early August 2005. I expected the food to be hit and miss (as I have previously experienced) but in fact it was perfectly cooked, very well presented and full of flavours. The menu was also varied and imaginative. The chef on duty was called Greg (overheard) I will now definitely come again.
THE SERVICE still needs work - it is more 'get the job done and the food out' than actual service with a smile. They say all the right things but they are still very brusque and don't give you any eye contact or make you feel comfortable - I expect to eat there on your own would be a trial.
At the prices they charge the service should be smoother and more personal. When presented with the credit card chit and asked to 'inspect' it (so I could see the space for a service charge/tip) I ignored it. Lunch for 3 at £80.00 - indifferent service - no chance. Having been in catering at a similar level for a lot of years I feel qualified to give an opinion.

Very 'hit and miss'. I have had reasonably good food here, but I have also been served truly awful cuisine. They seem to rely on their customers having little or no knowledge of how good food should be properly served and are not above microwaving meals to reheat them. The service is not great with an air of disdain frequently apparent. Brazz seems to rely on its links with the Castle Hotel and its reputation of being 'the place to be seen', a reputation which it is likely to lose once people realise there are much better and nicer restaurants very near by.

Good food, but the service is unreliable and on more than one occasion the food has arrived cold. Brazz is a decent restaurant in an otherwise lacking town, but it rather banks upon this without serving the equivalent quality.

Fabulous Food, beautiful setting, friendly staff and excellent service. Definitely fthe best restaurant in Taunton and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend Brazz to everyone.
