It was long time since I last ate at the Broadway and it will be a long time before I go back again. The service at the downstairs bar was poor with staff taking no account of who had been waiting longest. The food was incredibly salty and surprising for a salad. It could only be the dressing, which was excessive. Why can't it be provided on the side so that the customer can decide how much to have? The fish cake was also too salty to eat and was of supermarket freezer quality. It was not at all what I expected.

I have eaten there a number of times and their food is good with great vegetarian options. Good value for money with most dishes being about the £7 or £8 mark. However, it gets very busy with people going in for drinks and food before and after films.

The Broadway’s revamp was meant to herald a new era in fine eating. Upstairs looks lovely so we booked a table to celebrate out civil partnership for 28th April. We needed wheelchair access so stressed this at the time of booking.
Got there and were told there'd been a mistake, they shouldn't have taken our booking, as the restaurant was fully booked.
It wasn't the fact that they made this mistake (which could have spoilt our special day), but that everyone we spoke to blamed someone else and apart from the possibility of a quick Broadway bites we were treated as though we were being unreasonable. We were left to wonder Nottingham trying to get a table for our party.
We did write to the Broadway on 30th April to complain but no acknowledgement.
