Saturday night was really buzzing! The staff were friendly with apparently everything under control despite the pressure. There are people of all ages, which creates a great atmosphere and it’s so nice to have the piano playing instead of the usual piped music one gets, which is usually too loud. It’s rare to hear a good pianist these days in a pub or restaurant. Need I mention the food - superb!

The restaurant is fantastic! As a local it’s always a popular choice, the food is superb and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. You're unable to book a table but have never waited longer than half an hour and a drink in the bar is sufficed to whet the appetite. It’s close to the city centre and other bars too.

A popular meeting place for ladies that lunch!! Had a fab table, service was good, we had great smoked salmon, tiger prawns and goat’s cheese tartlet!! Very reasonable, lively place, does get busy but have a good system where we only had to wait about half an hour, so had a drink and a seat at the bar, then our number was displayed on a screen. Will definitely be going back!

So old hat! They should change the menu once in a while. So many staff and no customers, not good for business. Where have all the fabulous looking staff gone? Caesar salad was gritty and dull, moules very meagre portion. Wine was average, but pricey.

Lively atmosphere and great service even though they're always busy. Menu choice is good, with decent portion sizes and reasonable prices. The only downside is having to turn up and wait for a table - could be a problem if you're in a large group - but there is a bar for waiting.
