Fantastic real ales, great food and friendly staff - a real treat in the City Centre.

Delicious gastropub style food in a superb location, friendly staff and a great dessert menu. Don't let the name fool you, they do have a vegetarian option and the wine list contains a couple of real stars. Highly recommended!

We were recommended to the Chop House by a local. It was just what we wanted. The food was of a very high standard and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and staffed by a friendly crew. Although we were out of season, booking was essential.

This is a splendid restaurant offering good value, and locally sourced dishes in a friendly attractive setting. The menu changes with the seasons. I've become a weekly visitor and the local real ale is excellently kept. Highly recommended.

The Cambridge Chop House is a place worth visiting. It is very different from the typical 'chain' restaurants in the centre. I was so impressed with the quality of food, and the friendly, personable service. This is a great place to take friends, and family. I have a feeling they'll be seeing me quite frequently.
