The venue, the food and the service cannot be faulted. We have visited many times and each visit is an adventure. Occasionally the menu may be too 'exotic' for plainer palates but all cooked and presented at a very high standard.

Ths restaurant - I reckon to be the BEST restaurant for price, quality, etc, of anywhere I have eaten in the UK. I challenge anyone to deliver better value for money than its fixed price menu on a Tuesday evening. We have eaten there Tues after Tues and you cannot book! Simply because it is so good! Go on!

We have been to almost every restaurant in Chester and for both value and excellent food, Chez Jules cannot be beaten. A different menu each time we visit, friendly and efficient staff and a warm and relaxed atmosphere all make this THE choice when dining out in Chester.

Chez Jules, though a reasonably good place for a good meal; is by far one of the most over-rated restaurants I have ever eaten in. Cheap it may be, but the dishes are unimaginative, the wine is at best drinkable, and the service, especially on a Tuesday, is comparable, in speed at least, to a drive through restaurant. This is mainly, I’m sure, down to the number of customers they need to squeeze in as it is exceptionally popular, but one feels rather like he is eating in a service station, and not a good restaurant. On the plus side, there is little to fault with the food, at the prices charged, and the ingredients are most certainly of good quality, but overall, simply overrated, and certainly NOT the best restaurant in Chester.

This restaurant is amazing. The food is sublime, the service is fast and friendly and is very good value for money. By far the best restaurant in Chester.

This is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Chester and I say that both as a chef and as a customer. I have eaten in Chez Jules many times and the food has always been of a high standard, the staff are friendly, courteous and professional.

This restaurant is ideal for those of us who have expensive tastes, but love to eat out on a budget!! A Tuesday night at Chez Jules is a must try if you haven’t already.

Nice place, have been many times, mainly on a Tuesday when they have a set menu of two courses for £12.50 including a bottle of wine each, an absolute bargain! Otherwise it's a little pricey for what you get, service can be a little rushed sometimes, with an attempt to have quick table turnarounds. All in all, not a bad little place, but Tuesday's your best bet, but get there early!
