I have eaten at Coriander for the past nine years and I have always had excellent food, its vibrant fun, and very authentic. I have been to Mexico and the food is very similar, but Bournemouth is closer.

Although this is billed as a Mexican restaurant, the style of food, ingredients and dishes on offer are fairly mild and uninspiring. I would call Brit-Mex an apt term to describe it.

This is my favourite restaurant. I would go every night if I could - the food is delicious, service lovely and friendly and everyone I have taken has thoroughly enjoyed their meal, lovely little restaurant.

The service was dreadful. We ordered the lunchtime two course meal for three people and after ninety minutes had only received our starters.

We had an excellent meal for four at this restaurant with one person a vegetarian and one fish eater, the food was excellent and the atmosphere lively and everyone had a good menu selection to choose from, we would also recommend the drinks menu which has a varied selection of cocktails with several non-alcoholic options.

Great food, good service, nice atmosphere! Quite a large menu, all of which is cooked and delivered piping hot in very quick time.

Good food served in a pleasant environment. Can get very busy, probably because it’s pretty good.
