What can I say except wow! We really enjoy the food there and have been to Cribbs on quite a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff are great and helpful. Even when my 3 year old wanted to run around they were great, they gave her pens and paper and also let her move around. Again all I can say is that it is a great place, great staff and has great food!

Review by Team MA (12 January 2009)

After a recommendation we visited Cribbs on a quiet evening in the beginning of January and enjoyed a wonderful meal there. I decided to start with the mackerel and chose the jerk chicken for main course. The mackerel was perfectly cooked and was full of flavour and the jerk chicken which followed was without a shadow of doubt, the best jerk chicken my partner and I had ever tasted and she made sure to try mine more than once!

I'd heartily recommend Cribbs to anyone visiting Falmouth and I look forward to returning in the near future.

Review by Hampshire Harry (27 September 2008)

Due to a somewhat gaudy exterior and the unusual culinary descriptive of 'Cribbs Dine and Lounge', we were a little unsure of quite what to expect when we entered the restaurant. However, our fears were unfounded when we were met a cheerful and friendly waitress who ran us through the excellent menu with her own views and recommendations. Having been open for 18 months or so, Cribbs' owner and chef is from St Vincent and with his inventive menu brings a genuine flavour of the Caribbean to Falmouth. The ambiance was good; the food was excellent and was wonderfully supported by an insightful and value-for-money wine list. The Cornish mackerel fillets in a sweet chilli sauce were delightfully fresh and the monkfish wrapped in pancetta with scallops on a bed of Parmesan mash was a clear indication of his ambivalent ability to bring together fresh local produce and combine it with the wonderful allure of West Indian cuisine. An absolute winner; just because of its exterior, don't pass Cribbs by.
