What a find this is! I am reluctant to share this jewel of a restaurant with anybody, however, others should know how good it really is. Fine Italian dining is an understatement, the food is better than anything I have had in Roma. The atmosphere is cosy and intimate owing to the small size of the dining area. This just adds to the experience. David looks after you really well whilst his wife Nadia cooks up fantastic dishes to delight your palate. Well done!

It has the best Italian bread outside Roma and the finest cuisine to match it. They have wonderful food, served with subtle style and friendly warmth. It’s a great hospitality and culinary asset to the World Heritage Site, worthy of a global award all its own.

We have eaten at Da Vinci's many times - usually for special occasions. I have not found a restaurant to compare. The food is always excellent and David's attention to his clientele's needs is unfailing. We have booked in twice in July!

We ate there for my wife's birthday at the end of May. Wow, we have been trying to get a reservation there for some time but it was well worth the wait. Fantastic food with excellent and attentive service. The wine list is both extensive and excellent, and is a tribute to David and his very obvious enjoyment of his work. The menu has plenty of choice, even for somebody like me who has a fickle stomach, a pleasure to eat such lovingly prepared food by Nadia. Thank you so much, we will be back.

I am from Holland and I have known Nadia since 1989, when I worked with her in Italy. She can prepare great meals, she only uses fresh ingredients, so the whole summer we worked together, I ate delicious food!

Wow was the verdict from the group of friends who joined me in celebrating my 40th birthday at Da Vinci’s last month. Having previously dined here for a romantic dinner, I knew it would be a special place to bring close friends. On my wish list to dine out for my special celebration were fine wine and food, a relaxed and informal atmosphere, attention to detail and excellent value for money - Da Vinci’s ticked all the boxes.
It was a pleasure to dine in a restaurant where you can enjoy the delights of authentic Italian cuisine, and where you are not rushed between courses. The most difficult part being what to choose without feeling you’re missing out on not ordering everything on the menu! Attentive front of house and waiting staff make this a dining experience well worth a little wait, after all isn’t the ethos of Italian dining to savour the moment? Highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for either an intimate dinner or a friends and family gathering. My only concern - there should be a warning on the menu, explaining that diners are likely to become addicted to the place.

My mum and I went to Da Vinci's, and it was absolutely divine! Can't say anything bad about this place, food was fantastic best I've had, atmosphere brilliant, service was the best I’ve ever seen! Just want to thank the chef and staff for making it a fantastic evening.

The food here is lovely. The atmosphere in the cold cellar a little less so, particularly after an hours wait for our starter, followed by another hour for our mains. I understand that quality food takes time to produce, and genuinely do not mind waiting. I do mind not being told of the delay, and being informed that it is because there is only one chef. This was a special occasion, which was spoiled by poor communication. A genuine apology would have gone a long way. Da Vinci's has the monopoly on good food in Ironbridge but I wish they communicated better.

I visited for the first time just before Christmas - a lovely, intimate atmosphere and the wonderful aroma of food as we entered. Unfortunately, at the time we had to wait 45 minutes for our main dishes as there had been a flood downstairs. Everything was otherwise really nice.

Yet again we made the journey up from Bristol and were not disappointed. My wife almost overwhelmed by the biggest scallops she had ever had, served with char grilled asparagus and a saffron dressing and then halibut with chick peas and tomatoes....excellent. I shocked myself with a non-meat starter which is unheard of normally, but broad beans are my passion. I had the most exquisite little broad bean and potato "patties" which were stuffed with fresh ewe’s milk cheese and then goose breast roasted with Sicilian blood orange and chicory. The bird's reputation preceded it...and lived up to the (When Harry Met...) ooo-ing and aah-ing I had heard on my previous visit. Superb puds - ricotta cheesecake and almond meringue with chestnut cream. I cannot fault this restaurant. The service is second to none and the ambience is so relaxing we always feel we've had a weekend away somewhere special. The sun was shining and the wine flowing. It DID feel like Tuscany Nadia and David...it DID!! Thank you.
