I have been to the Dundas Arms many times and have always been delighted with the whole package. The atmosphere, staff, food and drink have all been exceptional and I have never had anything bad to say. This is one of the best pubs in England. I highly recommend it.

Review by Kerri (23 February 2008)

We drove out here on the recommendation of a pub guide book and we had a lovely time. The staff were really friendly and considerate and nobody minded our two kids colouring at the table between courses. The food was good pub stuff with clever twists. I had a warm beef salad with beetroot which I really enjoyed, the kids and my husband enjoyed their food too, although I found the kids' choices a little limited, I always like to see kids being offered what the adults can eat too, but smaller portions, although I realise it isn't always possible to do so. My husband was especially pleased that I offered to drive home after he'd tried out three of the four real ales on offer.

Review by Mike S (8 July 2007)

We read about the Dundas Arms and thought we'd take a dive out on a pleasant sunny evening for an early dinner. After about ten minutes qeueing for a drink, along with many other punters, we were forced to listen to the bar staff chatting with friends and welcoming others. We left in dismay and had wasted a two hour round trip. Never again!
