I have just tried your new tapas menu. It was really a treat.

I would just like to say a big thanks to all the Eden staff and a bigger thanks to Dazz the Head Chef for making my wedding day so very special. We had a sit down meal for 85 people and every meal was perfect. Thank you.

I popped into Eden with my friend for the early bird deal of £12.95 for two courses and anything off the menu. We really had a good time there and the bill was only £37 with drinks.

Well...

I went to Eden for a meal tonight, I’d never been before so I did not really know what to expect. We got there and it seemed very busy for a Thursday, although we did get a nice little romantic table in the corner. After we were seated we were offered drinks and told about everything on the menu, about the soup of the day and the specials. I thought that was a very nice touch, I was already impressed and I had not even eaten yet! We ordered our wine Chablis and of course it was only £13.95 which I thought was very reasonable for a nice bottle of wine! I usually pay around £20 for the same wine in most restaurants, as we do enjoy eating out! We then ordered our meal and for starters, I had the mussels and my boyfriend had the asparagus spears, both were fantastic and very well presented!

The mains arrived not long after the starters were cleared, just enough time for you to have a cigarette, outside of course! I had the lamb and my boyfriend had the beef stroganoff, my meal was to die, for it melted in mouth! My boyfriend’s meal which was also very nice, it was cooked to perfection. (You know how sometimes it's hard to get the beef in the stroganoff just right, well, this one was). We then had desserts we thought we would get a chocolate cake each! And it literally was a cake each! We should have shared one and had the leftovers. All in all the food was fantastic and the prices were reasonable, my stroganoff was around £11 and it came with rice! And my boyfriend’s lamb was around £12 with a side of vegetable included!

The service was excellent, and yes it was service with a smile, and it seemed the waiters were not being polite because they seemed to enjoy the conversation! I had a fantastic time and the prices were reasonable, so I thought I would write this review, if my experience had not been happy, I would have complained and also posted the same complaint here!

Had my wedding reception at Eden last month. It was amazing, they had transformed the place. I did not even recognise it. Thanks Eden, Mark and John.
