We visited this restaurant last month and had the most fantastic evening. The service, food and atmosphere couldn't be faulted. We will definitely return soon.

This was the most enjoyable and tasty meal I’ve ever had. Good atmosphere, helpful staff, variety of drinks and delicious sweets make me look forward to going there next time.

A couple of us went to El Castano for a birthday meal and came out rather disappointed. We were misinformed about the offers and had to pay £30 more than we'd expected. The food was good but portions were small. The staff should be better informed and the manager could wield more authority. It's a nicely decorated restaurant but we left feeling annoyed and hungry.

We went to El Castano and surprisingly the restaurant was quite busy. The staff, decor, ambiance and food was very nice. The only complaints were the lack of portions in certain dishes - we had the chorizo inferno which consisted of only six small cubes of chorizo and there was only a choice of two sweets.

The staff at El Castano were friendly and the atmosphere was ok altough it was qiuet. I was really impressed with the size of the portions. I have been to a few tapas restaurants and I can definitely say that the portions here were fabulous, making it great value for money.

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and decor. The food is very tasty, with a wide choice for vegetarians and meat eaters. I would highly recommend the place.
