Unobtrusive but attentive service, superb food, excellent wines and an elegant evening treat.

One of the best dining experiences I have had. The service was excellent and great team work throughout the restaurant. I loved the Malbec. I will fly my wife over from Texas for a visit especially to Forbury's. If you can't be home for the holidays, be somewhere like home. Thanks for making me feel at home.

I am writing regarding yesterday's meal at your restaurant. I took my husband there for his birthday meal and we both were so delighted with everything. The welcome, the service and food - was just incredible. The pig's trotter was just so delicious. I am definitely happy with my choice of the restaurant and would highly recommend it to others.

We went to the Forbury for their New Year's Eve Gourmet menu. It was fantastic. The food couldn't be faulted, the atmosphere was fun and everyone had a good time. It was excellent value too.

Friendly but professional service, modern but nice atmosphere; very tasty food, and well presented - and extremely good value for money menus in weekdays. Highly recommended.

Have been twice now, and both times loved it. Can be expensive as it is tempting to take up the offer of a glass of champagne on arrival...and from there on in it just gets more & more indulgent. The gingerbread ice cream is calling to me now!

Fabulous well presented food. May not look enough to satisfy a healthy appetite but the use of quality ingredients results in full, sumptuous flavours which leave you reassuringly satisfied. Was quite stuffed after dessert and that was without partaking in a starter!

Service attentive although scraping the table down of crumbs between courses was a bit pretentious but I suppose exquisitely presented food deserves an exquisitely clean table on which to be placed!

Atmosphere sophisticated and quiet. Overall a real treat. Great for a special occasions or if out to impress. Definitely one to go back to.

Probably the best restaurant in Reading, beating the London Street Brasserie which was my favourite until recently. I've eaten here three times so far. The food has always been excellent, the service attentive without being overbearing (a difficult balance).

A little more expensive than most places, but you get excellent quality and value for your money. This place is in another league compared to most restaurants in Reading, so paying a little more is well worth it.
