We have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and never been disappointed by the quality of the food or service; it is one of our favourites.

I booked a table for Friday Night as it was my birthday. We arrived at the right time to be shown to a table next to the serving area - not ideal but were told by the Manager there was no room upstairs - was obviosuly aware that the position was not good. It was busy. I had images of someone dropping food down my back, and having to listen to the chefs shouting 'service' all night! However soon after, a couple walked in off the street without booking, and were shown upstairs to a table! Needless to say, we left! No doubt the food is great but I feel the manager should learn to treat customers better.

This is one of the best restaurants in Ipswich. They serve really good food that looks, and tastes like someone actually cares about what comes out of the kitchen. Their service is exceptional, always friendly and polite. This place is definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant has great locally sourced food and fine service.

This used to be a good restaurant until the owner opened another branch in Woodbridge. I feel the quality of food has gone down ever since and the wine menu includes a large selection of un-available wines, the bread is old and food is not freshly prepared.

This is a lovely restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the food is always fresh and often locally sourced. There is also a restaurant in Woodbridge which is equally as good.

It seams that this restaurant replies too heavily upon its name, I have found that over recent months the standard of food has declined. I have been served food that has been still frozen in the middle, which was poorly presented in the first instance. The wine selection lacks flair and at best average. Serving mainly Chilean wines, which are far too heavy for the menu range.

Very good food and wine. Nice friendly atmosphere, but they need to consider giving customers a break between courses as you feel a bit rushed.
