I have eaten at Glo a number of times over the past two months, the special offers are excellent and a good introduction to a restaurant that serves 'different food'. Don't expect normal boring pizzas! The menu is extensive, presentation is excellent, not full of additives, and portions are generous. I can recommend the curry platters. I've introduced a number of friends to this unusual dining experience, all of whom are pleasantly surprised and vow to return.

A few of my friends and I went to Walton last Friday and were really surprised with the difference. We had been there before but hadn't really enjoyed the experience, however, we all decided to give it another go. Have you got a new management? What a change! The atmosphere was great, the food was really good and who appeared to be the manager or person in charge was talking with everyone. The staff weren't falling over each other but worked really well. We all had a fantastic time and will definitely be back and would totally recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I have eaten many times at Glo and it was an excellent experience. The cocktails with the Asian influence are unique and excellent. I recommend the Bombay baa baa pizza, which I thought to be strange when reading the description until it arrived. Two ginger lamb chops on a poppadom, different but top marks.

This is a perfect place for a perfect meal. The members of staff are very co-operative and helpful and so is the ambience. The dish pizza picoroli is just amazing. Try it out and you will forget all the other pizzerias in the city.

I have eaten at Glo and had drinks in their bar a number of times, but this has to stop! Their service is always slow, both for food and drinks. The waitresses and waiters are all young and not keen to impress or provide good service. There is rarely an apology or notice of delay. The management, who often outnumber the waiting staff, never help in busy periods and only seem to exacerbate the issue. It is really annoying to have such a long wait for food, only to see a gaggle of management crowded round the till and service area. The food borders on acceptable and is often lukewarm. The style is Wagamama meets Asian cuisine, but fails to meet the freshness or speed required to succeed. Don't go, unless you have loads of time to waste, want lukewarm food and drinks that take forever to serve.

We went to Glo in Walton for Sunday lunch mainly because our usual lunch stop was backed up in their kitchens and gave us a 45 minute waiting time. We had no such problems at Glo, which was somewhat surprising but we were hungry so sat at one of their communal tables on our own. We were handed a vast array of complicated menus with several different dining options, we opted for the ‘all you can eat’ dim sum Sunday lunch, which seemed a good deal, and a children's chicken noodle lunch for the child that was with us. It was interesting to note on the menu that on ordering the ‘all you can eat’ dim sum, you only had 75 minutes from ordering to eat all that you could, and also dim sum could only be ordered four sets at a time, and you could only order again once you had finished your previous order.
Things started going wrong when we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks - three diet cokes and a jasmine tea. On reminding the waitress that we hadn’t received them, they did appear at roughly the same time as our first orders of dim sum - 30 minutes after ordering. The dim sum were either crispy or steamed - essentially the crispy ones tasted like they were frozen spring rolls deep fried to order, and the steamed ones tasted micro-waved and gluey in texture with fairly bland fillings. We finished our first batch of dim sum after around 45 minutes and given we only had 30 minutes to eat any more, according to the menu, and decided to quickly order some more. These took yet another half an hour or more to arrive by which time we felt it necessary to complain to someone. In addition the chicken noodle child’s dish contained sweet chilli sauce - yes spicy sauce in a kid’s dish - incredible. The waitress brought over the manager who aside from looking about 15 years old bumbled numerous apologies and offered to extend the 75 minute deadline for ordering, however by this point we were beyond eating anything else and just wanted to leave. They did reduce our bill from £80 to £50, but I can honestly say that I will never eat there again. The service was dreadful, the members of staff clearly don’t care very much about the place, the food is bland and the children’s menu suspect at best.
