What can I say? It has been fifteen hours since I had the last beautiful bite of food presented by Grill on The Corner. Yes, the menu certainly is not the cheapest but it is definitely worth the extra. I started with the goats’ cheese and pineapple salad which was fresh, light and bursting with flavour. My friend had the old school prawn cocktail and it was the fanciest prawn cocktail I have ever seen, not presented in a little glass with a couple of bits of lettuce. For mains, we both opted for the ostrich on a bed of caramelised onions which was absolutely divine. The meat was cooked exactly as we asked for and was rich and smoky. As advised by our excellent server Kat, a credit to the establishment, we ordered sides to accompany our meal. My bok choi was crispy, refreshing and my friend's chips were well cut with skins still on, delicious. With a little room left for pudding I went for the banoffi pie which was rich, sweet and melted in the mouth. My only complaint here was that I could have eaten more of it. My less adventurous friend opted for the trio of ice cream which apparently was to die for. The divine food on offer is just one aspect of visiting Grill on the Corner. You receive a warm, friendly and genuine welcome. Kat was fantastic at striking the balance between being attentive and also leaving you in peace which is fantastic. Top marks all round. It is highly recommended. The bill for 3 courses, 2 sides, 1 bottle of wine, 1 soft drink and 1 cocktail was £94.

We visited this place on our last night in Glasgow and even had our luggage with us. This was no problem for them at all. Unfortunately, we were not hungry enough for the Chateaubriand but it's nice to see it on the menu. I had a classic burger and my wife had the fish pie - maybe not adventurous, but very tasty nevertheless. Service was excellent. I was so impressed.

My husband took me there for my thirtieth birthday last night. It was sublime. We really splashed out and ended up with a rather large bill, but it was totally worth it especially for a special celebration. There are affordable dishes and drinks also so I don't think it will be our only time. A special mention to our server Jenny who was fantastic and friendly. The food was some of the best I've tasted. My husband had the kobi steak and loved it. The wine was gorgeous and overall after four hours I still didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.

After doing some last minute sale shopping my partner and I where looking for a bite to eat before heading home, so we popped into The Grill on The Corner. I am so glad that we had chosen to walk round the corner as it was about a ten minute walk from where we were, and it was very cold. The warm welcome when we entered the bar area was great. After a nice classic champagne cocktail mix with martell VS cognac to keep us warm, mmm.. we were taken through the restaurant by one of the managers and taken to our table where we were introduced to our server Pedro. The restaurant had a good buzz around it, warm and cosy with dimmed chandeliers. My partner opted for the leg of lamb steak, which was chargrilled and the minted peas complimented the dish so well. I opted for fajitas and could not decide if I wanted chicken or beef so Pedro advised that I mix the dish and have both. The result for me and my tastebuds; delicious.
At the end of the meal we were given a voucher to complete, which in turn entitled us to a 50% off our food in January! What! 50%? I tell you I cannot wait to go back. What a fabulous offer. So if you are looking for great food and a good evening out, go to The Grill on The Corner, as you will be able to afford a few visits in the credit crunch situation with the best deal in town.

This place has the best steak in the city without a doubt. The service is first class, and the Bellini cocktails are delicious.

After visiting Grill on the Corner based on a high recommendation, we as a group were not disappointed. From the warm friendly welcome to the fabulous warm chocolate fondant cake - delicious, a must have for all you chocoholics out there. The menu had so many mouth watering seafood dishes. I can't wait to go back; in fact my husband has booked us for a romantic meal for two next Saturday. Watch this space for my next review.
