The food was fabulous, and the best we've eaten. It’s not too pricey, in fact it’s excellent value for money and have a good, friendly service. This has got to be one of the best restaurants in the UK. There, that's saying something.

Fabulous – it was probably the best meal that we have ever had out. The service, food, and wine - the whole lot was just superb - just wish you were a bit closer to the Cotswolds, but we will be back.

With the benefit of the Cornwall restaurant guide, we have discovered Kota Restaurant and are so happy that we have it. Thank you for the superb lunch last Saturday. The food was spectacularly good and the service was friendly, efficient and simply excellent. All the dishes were mouth wateringly good, but my star dish was the scallop starter. I promised a positive testimonial in the restaurant guide and this will not be the only one. Rest assured that a return trip to see my mother-in-law in Truro will include a booking at Kota. This place has proved to be the overall winner in our Cornish culinary quest with simply stunning food, fantastic presentation and good value. If you’ve felt like you needed to open a restaurant in Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds, then we would be weekly regulars!

I rate it 10 out of 10 and you cannot afford to miss a meal there. If you thought Critchards was good, then just double it and add 10, then you would get Kota!

Went to the KOTA restaurant for a very special celebratory meal Feb 17th 07. Managed to pre-order (24 hrs notice) the seafood platter which was brilliantly organised by the KOTA. Service and quality of food was exceptional with an informal friendly atmosphere. Seafood platter was without a doubt, worth every penny, a total work of art. Would highly recommend KOTA if you are in the area. We will certainly return to Porthleven and KOTA.
