The food there was fantastic. They had a great selection, and it was value for money. The have the best chocolate fondue, it was nice, and soft. I would recommend this brilliant place. The customer service was very good, the members of staff were very friendly, and the price per room was very economical.

We were on our way to Lifton near Launceston. I stopped at this village to avoid the long queue of traffic on a sunny evening and came across this handsome inn where we decided to sample the wine and wares. The food was delicious, the service was great and we wished we had booked a four poster for the night. Keep up the welcome and we will be calling in again, hope we don't have to sit near a very ungrateful, fussy family who did not appreciate your hard work that evening.

We both chose for lunch the Hebridean crab, cod and chervil fishcakes with green beans, shallots and fresh mint salad and with tonic water each, which cost us £27. However the fishcakes were a deep fried wedge of potato with no discernible fish and presumably due to low cooking oil temperature they had absorbed large quantities of oil. The green beans, shallots and fresh mint salad were just a few green beans and the tonic water had to be asked for three times before they arrived. After prolonged negotiation of our food is always perfect sir, I really cannot understand what the problem is, variety, our bill was reduced to begrudging £15 still a total waste of money.

A most enjoyable time was had by all my family at a celebration meal. Our food was delicious and the service was of a very high standard - a thoroughly recommended establishment.

I have eating there loads of times and their food and the people are superb you will not find such kind people at any other place; it’s a family pub and if I could go back there I would do it any day of the year.

Adequate but very over-priced food. The service was slow - food was well presented but quite basic and did not really represent value for money. The menus were short with very few of the offerings providing something different and adventurous. Having eaten at several gastro pubs I would rate the Lamb quite lowly - chain style food at gastro pub prices!

Most pleasant atmosphere, very relaxing, and unhurried, which is important for eating out. The staff I noted were attentive to all age groups, and helpful throughout my visit there. Very much a "must go back to".
