This is a very nice, small restaurant situated just outside Sidmouth. The tables are well arranged, Kate provides a very friendly welcome, and Jonathan's cooking is excellent. Our dinner was cooked using good local ingredients - delicious baked Cornish camembert followed by cod with lovely olive oil and garlic mash, and summer pudding to follow. A good wine list too at very reasonable prices. It's definitely recommended if you are in the area. When we visited in June 2009 the dining room was full, which is always a good sign.

Lovely restaurant, small, charming, beautifully laid tables with proper napkins etc. and the food is not bad either. It must be one of the better places to eat in Devon - recommended.

Moore's restaurant is real value for money with a special friendly environment. The food was well presented and of extremely high quality with a personal service that made the experience one I would recommend to all. If you enjoy amazing fish then, Moore’s is a must.

I have dined at Moore's Restaurant many times in the last six months. The menu changes each day, as the owner/ chef works on the basis of 'what's available' and creates delicious food every time as a result. Together with his wife, Kate, who runs front of house, they make a well balanced team and produce an evening to remember time after time. The menu style can best be described as Modern British, using local ingredients. The fish is often caught the same day by the chef himself.
