Nando's - Shrewsbury Reviews

I love this place. I have been there several times with my boyfriend and recently went with a rather large group of people for a work do. Service was very good especially with the large group of us, as you usually have to order and pay before hand, they were extremely accommodating and gave us a pen and paper to jot down everyones order, and let us pay at the end, as we wanted to order more drinks as we went along. The food was delivered all at the same time and quite quickly.

I love Nando’s and so do all my close family and friends.

On Wednesday 2nd January, I visited Nando's with my family. I was slightly cautious of the Portuguese cuisine, not having really experienced anything of this nature, as Shrewsbury isn't particularly multi-cultural. We were greeted by warm and friendly staff and seated.

However, there is a slightly annoying system of how you order your food. You, having once chosen your meal, go up to the till, order, and pay straight away. This could be a problem as it is difficult to remember one's order, especially in groups. The food does arrive very quickly though, which I thought was brilliant. You can also go and choose your own drinks and sauces. A positive feature on the menu was the 'Peri-meter' you can chose how spicy you want you meal to be, which is good for kids as well, or you can have it plain. There is an excellent choice of vegetarian dishes and chicken dishes, with a few beef dishes too.

Childrens’ meals are very reasonably priced and come with’bottomless frozen yoghurt' which you can refill as many times as they wish. Overall, I was impressed with Nando's, the decor and music tied in nicely with the food, the staff and service was brilliant, and I am actually going again in two days time ,as they are open on Sunday, with my boyfriend.
