It has a very friendly atmosphere and the food is okay but not great yet not bad either! The restaurant has a great location and it’s very nice.

Wonderful atmosphere complemented by friendly, attentive staff and a varied menu. The food and drinks are always served promptly and well. I've never had a bad meal there, occasionally I thought I could cook something as good as this at home, but being bowled over by fancy food isn't my aim when going to Olivetto. It's a relaxed, friendly, easy and pleasant way to pass an evening in Guildford. I'd highly recommend it.

Olivetto became our favourite restaurant in Guildford after just one meal there - the food was exquisite, the service prompt and friendly and the atmosphere relaxing and unhurried (a real find for Guildford). We have eaten here many, many times since ranging from romantic meals for two to Christmas Eve meals for friends and even dinner for twenty four the night before our wedding. We have never been disappointed by the food or the service. A meal here is fairly expensive but always worth the cost - we thoroughly recommend a visit.

Having discovered Olivetto when I first moved to the area 2 years ago, it has become a firm favourite with myself and my family. The atmosphere is typical Italian trattoria with the" floor show" of the ever exuberant Maurizio to put a smile on any diner's face. The menu following the arrival of Paolo in the kitchen has become even better value for money than before with interesting light dishes with personality to sell. Whether it be for lunch with friends or dinner with family or business associates we have never gone wrong with Olivetto.

I had my 30th birthday lunch and drinks there a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful! The service was first class and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone thinking of eating out in Guildford for lunch or dinner.

Genuine and delicious Italian food at sensible prices with friendly service - what more could you ask for?

Friendly and efficient service. However spoilt by a cold plate and mean helpings. My message is therefore "Please warm the plates and put more on them!".

We visited this restaurant on Sunday 12th June 2005 with a party of 25. We had pre-booked a set menu which was totally delicious and the three meals that for dietary reasons were "off-menu" were equally well presented and exactly what we had requested. The service was warm, friendly, quick and quite frankly impeccable. The restaurant is in a great setting in Guildford and the interior is light and traditional. This is the second time we have been to Olivetto and we absolutely love it! We were treated fantastically well by all the staff! We'll definitely be going back there and would recommend it, and its sister restaurant Olivo's to all!
