They now have a summer menu so prices have risen slightly, but rightly so. The service is excellent and the quality of food is great. I will recommend this place to Stratford- Upon-Avon locals and visitors.

The beef bourguignon is the best ever. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It is definitely recommend.

I've never eaten in The One Elm, but have drunk there several times. There's always been Timothy Taylor's Landlord, Fuller's London Pride and the local specialty Purity Pure UBU on tap. The ales have been in excellent condition on each occasion and the atmosphere is always good.

Decided to visit the One Elm after researching eating places for a girlie weekend in Stratford. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. We ate there at lunchtime and evening. During the day it is very chilled and the evening more upbeat but not noisy. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly - you feel like you are talking to old friends! The food is good - cooked well, served on time and displayed beautifully on the plate. If you register on their website and visit within two weeks you get an offer of free bottle of house wine or champagne depending on number of guests. Highly recommend them.

I recently had lunch here with my family to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The whole experience was superb. It’s fantastic to find somewhere that’s happy to cater for all the family and nothing was too much trouble, even down to asking for the anchovies to be served separately to the rest of the Caesar salad so my 14 year old son could try them and not risk wasting his whole meal, and he’s now so pleased to have tried them and loves them.
The staff are friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food is out of this world. What more could you ask for. This has become my excuse to shop in Stratford upon Avon, the knowledge that there is somewhere to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the town and recharge your batteries over lunch. Well done The Peach Pub Company.

We'd never been to The One Elm before so we took advantage of the Telegraph's 'Gastropub' offer. It was quite busy for a Tuesday evening with a wide range of customers in terms of age and groupings, which is a good sign in itself, but the service was still prompt, there was a varied menu with additional daily specials, the food and drink itself was very good and it wasn't expensive.
We would certainly go again even without the special offer - I now realise the value of these to the pubs/restaurants if they can make such a positive impression as this when they are busy. I would certainly recommend this to friends as a place to eat out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

As this restaurant is very close to the office we frequent it at least once a week. The menu is varied and changes regularly. The food is invariably good and sometimes spectacular. The fish specials are always worth trying, and the fishcakes (which are never off the menu as there would be riots!) are great but ask for extra sauce. Wines are well chosen and not too pricey. Nice atmosphere lovely courtyard at the back for warm days, definitely one of Stratford’s better bar/restaurants.
