Review by Douglas Burnett (6 October 2009)

I recently visited Opus One in October and was delighted. As soon as we walked through the front door of the county hotel, we were greeted by the head waiter and asked to take a seat, and the sofas are so comfortable that you didn’t want to get up. We were offered drinks straight away after we ordered and were asked to go through to Opus One and I haven't tasted better food in Scotland. They must have a first class chef and the service from the young man and his team was again first class, he came to our table a good three-four times topping up wine and making sure we were happy. I will definitely return and will tell my friends and colleagues from work. What a find!

I visited Opus One restaurant for the first time at the end of August and I would definitely return. The food is outstanding, very good choice of wines, and the gentleman who took our order made sure we were looked after well in the restaurant. His knowledge of the menu and wine list were excellent. The food is easily the best in Perth. What a wonderful dining experience!

Review by Ms Mcinnes (26 July 2009)

I was recently at Opus One restaurant in July and it is the best meal we have had in ages. The food is out of this world and is cooked to beyond perfection. This is complemented by a very high standard of service. The head waiter really made sure that we were looked after. There were seven of us in our party and we would definitely recommend Opus One to any one. I think it would be better if they redo the wine list.

Top quality! The best dining experience my wife and I have had in a long time. Great flavours, beautifully presented and the service was really friendly and professional. This is a restaurant at the very top of its game.

This may be the youngest fine dining in the city but my God it was amazing. The gorgeous four course meal was the ultimate gourmand experience. Each course was beautifully cooked and presented, and the taste was just sublime. The service was spotless and attentive and we couldn’t expect anything more. Don’t forget to leave place for the dessert. I will definitely make my way back to the Opus One to sample some more of this great restaurant's food.

Review by Giles (19 July 2008)

I stayed in the hotel attached to this restaurant in July and found the menu to be very seasonal with some great choices. I only wish I had been staying a few days as I struggled to make up my mind what to have. The food is out of this world in terms of flavour and presentation and the service was also excellent. I can't wait to go back.

I have eaten here 3 times with friends since it opened and it has been of a consistent high quality. The food is beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and the menu offers the best in seasonal Scottish cuisine. The service is attentive and the atmosphere amiable. I would heartily recommend it to anyone who enjoys a high standard of food.
