My girlfriend took me there for my birthday and it was great. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit it again.

We booked to celebrate my 50th birthday with my wife and twin sons, aged twenty. We all agreed the food as well as the setting and particularly the service was fantastic. Expensive but not more than you would expect for this quality. Well worth a visit - we will be going back, maybe to try the Brasserie.

My girlfriend and I were out shopping on the weekend and decided we'd round off a great day with a visit to the OXO Tower Restaurant. We were able to get a 9 pm table. On arrival the decor immediately primes you for an exceptional dining experience, pointless to say really that the service and food were exquisite. I will definitely be visiting the OXO Tower again even if it is without my girlfriend!

The food in the restaurant was 'to die for'. The cuisine was well presented and very tasty and although we joked about needing a magnifying glass to see the food on those extra large plates, we were surprisingly full after the second course and forced ourselves to try the desserts. We had a fabulous table at the end of a very crowded room that allowed us to enjoy a panoramic view of London and all its architecture.
The service was impeccable and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere is wonderful and it leaves one with a feeling of contentment. For a moment, you feel rich, pampered and privileged to be able to eat in a place that the celebrities frequent. We rubber necked and gawped at several well known faces.
"Didn't it cost you an arm and a leg?" asked people. Its expensive, yes, at 60 quid a head but for a special occasion, you couldn’t choose a better place to create a lasting impression. However, it need not be the sharp intake of breath as they do have a good set menu for 28 per head.
When I win the lotto, I will definitely be going back and taking groups of gawping friends with me!
Go there just to steal the matches and be able to boast that you've been to The Oxo Tower!

We visited the Oxo Tower Restaurant at midday on Friday, 15 September 06. We chose from the fixed price menu and found the selection on offer to be varied with plenty of fish and meat choices. Portions were reasonable, not as bad as the nouveau cuisine style I was expecting.
The restaurant was very efficiently run, but the tables were too close together. The staff were proficient and reasonably attentive, but were a bit on the impersonal side. The cost of lunch, including a bottle of house champagne (Harvey Nics which was very good) was £125. We would visit again, but this time at night, just for a different view.

I recently took my wife to the OXO Tower restaurant. On arrival the restaurant was loud and there was very little room in on the balcony area. I had our table booked for 21:00 and after reminding a member of staff, we were seated.
The waiter service was very polite and fast. The food itself was superb; the quality was of a very high standard. As the night got later the noise level decreased and we could enjoy our meal.

Appalling scrum and service on arrival, but disappointment overcome by great menu and delicious food. How can they offer only one urinal in gents for so many diners, and disaster trying to get home - not a cab around in spite of assurances to the contrary. Fab food and view BUT........

I booked a table for Mothers Day as a treat, always wanting to experience the Oxo Tower; both myself and my mother were both satisfied with the service and the majority of the menu. I ordered the salmon and my mother ordered the lamb. We found the portions quite small but the waiters were pleasant and we were able to take a 3/4 bottle of red home. Overall a pleasant treat and we would both re-visit the Oxo Tower again.

I popped into the OXO Tower last week, (more by accident than intent to be honest) while I was down that way. My wife and I were really surprised, we hadn't expected to enjoy it so much and had a really good night. Thanks to Andy for introducing me to it, and to all the staff, we are looking forward to many more visits.
