I have eaten in the Palm Court quite a few times. Every time I'm in London I make it a point to have lunch or dinner there. I have found the food to be excellent and the service to be very good, the price is very reasonable as well. I have paid more for food outside of London that is no match to that at Palm Court. I’m looking forward to eating there again in September.

We had a really tasty three course set menu and loved the food and the service was excellent. The restaurant was crowded and the table for four was a bit cramped but it was great for a pre theatre meal and very good value. We all agreed that the crème brûlée was divine. Hope to go again soon.

We decided on the pre-theatre menu, two courses for £9.95. It was good food and wine, and very good value. It was very busy, but the service was excellent and all members of staff were very polite and attentive. We would recommend them.

We had a meal at the restaurant day before yesterday evening. The atmosphere was wonderful and the members of staff were very attentive. I would go again and recommend this restaurant.

We went for a set lunch and found the food and price great. The waiters could have been a little friendlier, but on the whole great value.

We've been here a few times and it's one of my favourite place to go. The food isn't the best you'll ever eat, except the moules marinières which might be! It's just a really nice, chilled out, romantically lit place to eat.

If you were looking for something to complain about you probably could find it, but if you're looking to have a nice meal in a nice place, you'll have that too!

We found this haven as part of a theatre ticket deal on 16th May. Even though we were not a la carte guests the service was exceptional and efficient, the food delicious and the atmosphere perfect for a quiet pre-theatre supper. We will go there again!

We booked through lastminute.com for a prix fixe dinner menu. The choice was limited but that wasn't so much of a great deal. The soup of the day was so tasteless that if I was not told what I was eating I would have never guessed. The main course was not bad actually but again what can you do wrong with a few bits of veg and a portion of salmon. The service was below average-the waiter looked so tired and could not be bothered to make any effort to speak. Overall very disappointed and I consider the restaurant as a place I would never go back to or recommend to a friend.

Having stumbled on what we thought looked like the perfect place to have supper, my boyfriend and I were seriously disappointed with our evening here. The service was incredibly aggressive and we generally felt like they couldn't wait to get rid of us even though it was early in the evening and there were plenty of other diners. The salmon we ordered smelled off (first commented on by the table next to us) and the staff couldn't have been more defensive and rude - almost saying that we should eat it anyway. It was a shame as the interior of the place is great and we thought we'd found a real gem.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this gem on New Year’s Eve, luckily we were able to get a table; we had oysters and the surf and turf deal, which is £17.95 each. It was fantastic, a large portion presented simply. The service was excellent and a very pleasant experience overall. We have since been back and will go again. I have pretty high standards when it comes to both food and service and this exceeded both.
