Our party of six were well looked after. Super food and drink plus the super service from the staff highlighted a special first day of a long weekend in the capital. Although we were all stuffed after two courses, the complementary banoffi was a lovely treat and very very nice. Thanks.

Ten out of ten - friendly staff, lovely food, quick and efficient service, reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere. We went on a Saturday evening so the place was buzzing, but we got a table for two in 10 minutes with a complementary half a glass of wine while we waited. I have nothing bad to say, which is not like me. I would go back and definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is an excellent restaurant where the food was reasonably priced and delicious. The service too was most impressive. It is obvious that all involved here take pride in delivering a first rate experience.

This place has the best Italian food in town. Great nosh, warm, friendly service and reasonable prices, but I am a regular. P.S, try the spaghetti with meatballs, trust me.

This place is always a good choice whenever I feel like eating a good Italian meal. In my opinion they serve the best carbonara and their sea food pasta is also excellent. Every time I go to Pasta Brown I find the service fast, competent and friendly. The food is cooked to perfection and I highly recommend this place and will always go back.

Had a great meal on Saturday, portion size was very good and tasted really nice. Reading past reviews, they have certainly improved the service, the staff where quick and efficient, however we did feel that the main course was served a little to quick after our starter. Didn't like the fact that they added 12.5% onto the bill as it was to difficult/awkward to ask for them to take it off.

Maybe I have been to a different restaurant to some of the previous reviewers, but I have always found Pasta Brown to be an excellent choice for a quick and reasonably priced meal in Covent Garden. Unpretentious and friendly it delivers a freshly prepared and decent meal every time. Not admittedly a place for a romantic meal or to linger at, but good fun and not expensive.

I agree with the review of T Walker. Food was OK but the service was laughable. It was slow, the staff were disinterested - at times it was though we were being ignored. To cap it all off, they had the audacity to include a 'discretionary' 12.5% for service as part of the bill which could only be taken off if you asked specifically, then had to do the requisite maths yourself! The highpoint of the meal was when a waiter and waitress collided, covering another customer in red wine! Needless to say I won't be going back.

The food was ok, but the service was comically, atrociously bad as they tried to get people in and out as soon as possible so they could get the next diners in. We really got a sense that they were just greedy and cashing in on the location (passing trade being phenomenal in the area).
I think that from the moment we sat down at the table it took only about 40 minutes until they brought the bill (before I had finished my coffee or even asked for a bill). We were still eating our starters when the mains arrived and they snapped "you done with these or not"? And anybody who knows me knows that I am not a slow eater. Furthermore, being rushed, I didn't notice that they had taken the liberty of adding £5.80 for 'service' before I gave them my card. As we got up to leave, one of the waitresses started wiping down the table, handing me my wallet as it was still on the table and in the way of her rag.
So will never ever return to the place and I recommend everyone looking for a relaxed meal to avoid it. If you want an Italian version of McDonald'sesque service, then this is for you. Horrible, hostile, greedy.

I went to Pasta Brown with some friends, it was the first time I had been, it was recommended by one of the girls in our group. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the food it was excellent, good service and a good selection on the menu. We were just visiting London for the weekend, I wish they would open a restaurant in Cumbria, but the next time I'm in London I will definitely visit Pasta Brown again, and will recommend it to my friends.
