I had an absolutely fabulous meal at The Prime Cuts. I took my mum and her partner who is well travelled, and he said he has never had a meal like it. It was totally first class. A big thank you to Stephen the manager, who treated us all so individually, and the rest of the team who were all amazing.

Well where else in Aberdeen do you get service and food that good? It may be costly, but you get what you pay for. I will be back. Their prime cuts beat most restaurants in Scotland. I would recommend them to every one.

Good quality of food as was the service, but the overall lasting impression was its a little overpriced given the competition that’s already out there.

All I can say is 10/10. It was the best meal I can ever recall having in Aberdeen, and it may seem expensive but try getting this quality and service anywhere else. I have paid a lot more for less in Aberdeen. I will certainly be returning and recommending them to my friends and colleagues.

We visited there in November. My wife ordered the hot salmon and lobster salad for starter, and got a cold salmon salad. I ordered crab cakes, and got tasteless lobster cake for £1 more than the menu said. The steaks were okay, but nothing special. The whole experience was average, but vastly overpriced. And the service charge! No wonder the waitresses were smiling.

I dined in Prime Cuts in April with two of my mates and ordered the lamb and I had been asked how I would like it cooked? I wanted it well done but didn't get it as per my requirement. I had to wait for ten minutes to get it redone even though the place was not busy at all. The sweets were fine apart from the piece of plastic in my mate's chocolate terrine. They add a ten percent service charge to your bill although the menu says that the service charge is optional.

We paid £80 pounds for a couple of steaks and glasses of wine. The steak was good, although they managed to mix up the cooking of our steaks and the restaurant wasn't even busy as it was a Monday. The side orders tasted like frozen ready-to-eat dishes. The service was slow and not particularly friendly. It was a completely overpriced experience.

I think they serve the best steak and red wine in Aberdeen.
